A Brunch Adventure at the Peckish Pig

Peckish Pig has been a favorite spot of mine for awhile. Greeted with a cheery smile, amazing staff and fantastic food, the Peckish Pig beats the majority. Located in Evanston, IL at 623 W. Howard St, this beautiful gem of a place rests. This restaraunt and bar has a classy, wood interior and an adorable outdoor space. I have been lucky enough to be seated in both. I have also been for dinner, I will be back with more on that at a later edition. For now, I must stick to the topic at hand. My favorite meal which is none other than brunch. I bet you didn't see that coming! Brunch has been my favorite ever since I was a little girl. I remember fond memories of going to The American Girl Door store for tea and brunch. I also remember going to The Grille on Laurel in Knollwood, IL as a child after church with my family. Both of those instilled this love of chicken and waffles that I have now.

But at the Peckish Pig, I did not have their chicken and waffles. I suppose that is for another time. I decided to get the Cheesy Grits with bacon and a poached egg on top. The presentation came out stunning as the food always does.

Overall, this place has continued to impress me since the moment I stepped into their doors. A 10/10 experience every time. You must check it out!
